We would like to thank our guests in advance for treating our homes as their own and for following the below policies during their stay. Please take a moment to review this information to ensure a wonderful vacation.
Complimentary wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is provided in all properties. Should issues arise, unplug the router, wait 2 minutes, then plug it back in. Do not push the reset button. If problem persists please email service@carolinapalm.com.
Check-in is 4:00 p.m. Check-out is 10:00 a.m. No early check-in or late check-out. Carolina Palm does not permit luggage storage outside of reservation times. Inconvenience fee applies for early arrival or late departure.
Parking passes and/or pool passes/bands are only required for some properties. If they are required, they will be in the unit upon arrival or instructions will be provided on retrieving them at the front desk. Leave all provided items on kitchen counter upon departure.
Display parking passes at all times. Failure to display may result in fine or towing of vehicle at renter’s expense.
Motorcycles, golf carts, and trailers are allowed at all beach houses. Condominium HOA policies vary. Please check prior to arrival. Renter responsible for verification.
Smoking is not allowed at any properties. Some condo buildings do not permit smoking or vaping on balconies or in common areas of the building such as walkways and the pool deck. Specific property rules will be in the guest’s arrival details. HOAs may impose fines for violations.
Pets are allowed at some of our beach houses. Pets are not allowed at condos due to HOA policies (except for Beach Haven, which is pet friendly). Each property web site will show if it is pet friendly or not. Pet fee applies. Only dogs allowed, with a maximum of two dogs 25 pounds each. Renter responsible for pet damage and for cleaning up after pet in yard.
With any reservation, there must be at least one adult at least 25 years old always staying on property. Any exceptions will be posted the property’s web page.
Renters must adhere to all posted signs, placards, and rules at the property (including pool, parking areas, etc.).
Upon arrival, please report any damage or missing items to service@carolinapalm.com.
All charges accrued during stay must be paid prior to departure.
If the owner (or representative of the owner), the local/state law enforcement, or the security company employed by the property evicts Renter and/or their guests, then additional charges may occur and there will be no refund.
The total number of occupants cannot exceed the maximum occupancy (1 per single; 2 per twin, queen, king, and sleeper sofa). Maximum occupancy is posted on the property page. Children are included in maximum occupancy.
While linens and bath towels are included in the home, there is no daily maid service. Cleaning service is provided upon check-out and is included with all stays. Towels are not to be hung from balconies and railings.
Upon departure Renter is required to:
- Bag and remove all food and garbage. Take to trash chute or dumpster. For beach houses, wheel bins to the street for collection. Lids must close completely, or the city will not empty the bins. Any overflowing garbage must be taken to nearby dumpsters along on Ocean Boulevard.
- Pet-friendly properties: always clean up after pet in yard.
- Leave all sheets and towels inside the home. Do not leave any sheets or towels outside the home under any circumstances at any time.
- Close and lock all windows and doors. Turn off all lights and TVs.
- Locks, Keys, & Passes:
- Keyless entry properties: Use keypad to lock door.
- Lockboxes: Return keys to lockbox where retrieved upon arrival.
- Office pickup: Leave keys and/or swipe cards on kitchen counter.
- Leave ALL parking passes, pool passes, pool bands, etc. on kitchen counter.
- Wash all dishes and put away neatly in kitchen cabinets.
- In summer, set thermostat to 75 degrees. In fall/winter, set to 65 degrees.
Failure to follow these procedures will result in additional charges to the Renter.
Rates are subject to change without notice until reservation is secured.
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of all payments, and the party will not be allowed to check-in.
Carolina Palm Realty has the right to cancel and/or move any reservation at any time in the event of unforeseen circumstances where the property becomes unavailable or uninhabitable. If cancellation is made prior to check-in date, Carolina Palm Realty will refund in full. If cancellation is made during stay, Carolina Palm Realty will refund on a pro-rated basis.
Standard cancellation rules apply for shortened stays or cancellations due to natural disasters including but not limited to hurricanes, storms, tornados, and floods. It is recommended that the Renter purchases travel insurance if s/he so desires. Refunds will be issued during natural disasters only if evacuation is issued.
For all reservations, Renter understands that card may be charged in addition to the total bill if the above terms are not met and/or additional expenses are incurred. This includes, but is not limited to, violation of the above rules, failure to follow departure procedures, and missing or damaged linens, property contents, and/or furnishings.
Carolina Palm is not responsible for the actions of guests, repairs or maintenance inconveniences, etcetera for units it does not manage.
For routine building and unit upkeep, guests must allow maintenance access. This includes items including but not limited to pest control, HOA unit inspections, and cable/Wi-Fi updates. Carolina Palm will notify guests in a timely manner when possible if any such items are scheduled during their stay. This also includes real estate showings, which may occur if a property is for sale and typically last around ten minutes.
