When the sun goes down, visitors are ready for some post-sun fun. From bustling bars to hitting the dance floor, go to any of these areas and enjoy convenient barhopping, lively crowds, and dancing.
In North Myrtle Beach, Main Street reigns supreme. Visit Duck’s Night Life, the largest and often busiest venue with live bands, dancing, and a DJ. Sky Bar across the street is a multi-story open-air bar overlooking Main Street, and Pirate’s Cove also hosts bands. These are all just steps from each other, with many other restaurants and bars within easy walking distance such as HOTO’s on the oceanfront as well as International Café. There are pizza shops, ice cream parlors, and even a game arcade here as well for endless eats and entertainment. Main Street also hosts an outdoor summer concert series on the oceanfront early in the evening on Thursdays in season.
While Barefoot Landing does not have many places to go dancing, it serves up some fantastic bars all in one outdoor, waterfront shopping venue. From Crooked Hammock Brewery to three waterfront restaurants as well as Bully’s for later in the evening, you’ll be able to have a fantastic meal, stroll through the boutiques, and check out many spots all at once.
Famed for its seafood restaurants, but fast becoming a nightlife hub, there are three stand-out venues here worth the trip. Start your evening at Backyard Sport’s Bar located on the waterway. With dozens of new TVs, you can catch the game, listen to live bands on the waterfront deck, and play darts or Golden Tee as the perfect start to a night with friends. Make your way down the street to 3001 Nightlife, an outpost 43 years strong that has the famous three-clubs-in-one open on weekends. Bourbon Cowboy here features country artists and even line dancing. Club Rewind is the main room featuring a band playing top 40’s hits, and the third club has a night club ambiance with DJs spinning hits. Across the street in the Kroger Shopping center is Whisky Beach, a smaller club popular on weekends that hosts bands.
